Catch up time again

Hi All,

Well we are now in Sydney, Michael is working again as I mentioned before but this job is paying more and so here we are. Long story short, our son is getting married in America at the end of the year, and so to help fund the trip and the wedding Michael is now working again. We are here now until June 2019, and so I'm gonna make the most of being in the Big Smoke.
I've already joined a wonderful group of very talented ladies at the Padstow Embroiderers Guild and have for the first time learnt Hardanger. I will also get back into my bobbin lace as there are several groups within reasonable reach here. Here is my first attempt so far at Hardanger.
I'm also in the process of making the ring pillow for our son's wedding. Here is the design and my work so far.
Top left will be hand dyed silk ribbon roses and bows, and the bottom will be beading to match the bridesmaid dresses. The text will be stitched in a braided chain stitch.
Its worked on Ivory Silk.

I'm also working on another on of Kathy Shaw's classes, this time it's the Quilting course. I've always wanted to do it properly.

So that's about it in a nutshell, catch you again soon.
